Full Mouth Examination
Each appointment begins with a thorough oral evaluation using a bright light and full-mouth speculum.
We assess facial symmetry and balance, and examine the lips, mucosa, incisors, canines, wolf teeth, premolars, molars, tongue, gingiva, and palate to identify any abnormalities or imbalances that may affect comfort or performance.
Full Mouth Equilibration
It’s never “just a float.” Every horse receives a complete balancing to achieve proper three-point contact, correct occlusal angles, and removal of any sharp enamel points or malocclusions. This ensures optimal comfort, chewing efficiency, and performance under bit.
Tartar Removal
Gentle removal of accumulated tartar to promote gum health and prevent infection.
Cap Removal
Safe and effective removal of retained deciduous teeth (“caps”) to prevent discomfort and interference with permanent tooth eruption.
Extractions

Sedation
Sedation is required to be available at every appointment. The method of sedation is determined by your veterinarian’s recommendation. Many veterinarians are happy to prescribe Dormosedan® Gel, IM, or IV injectables depending on your skill and comfort level. Many clients choose to schedule us alongside their veterinarian’s spring/fall wellness visits or vaccination appointments — this allows the vet to administer sedation while routine care is being performed, maximizing efficiency and minimizing stress for the horse. You'll also save on farm call fees.
Freeze Branding
You provide the brand and sedation — we’ll handle the rest. Precise, professional freeze branding performed with care and attention to safety and aesthetics.
Sheath Cleaning
Available for well-mannered, sedated horses during dental or branding appointments.
Hygiene & Equipment Care
We take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and biosecurity. All instruments,
speculums, and dental equipment are meticulously cleaned and sanitized between every appointment.
Even our footwear is disinfected to ensure the safety and health of each horse and facility we visit.
